20th + 21st/22nd September: Glazing, kiln packing & firing
Come and join us for  PLAYING WITH FIRE at Lexa's workshop and kiln site in the beautiful rural location at Stowford Manor Farm, 11 miles south of Bath. The emphasis of this course is on firing relatively small kilns, using low cost, recycled materials – mostly scrap wood from demolition sites or similar sources. Both beginners & experienced enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore a range of making and firing techniques in a relaxed & friendly atmosphere.
